ADARUN Control of ADASMXIT output

Hello

Upon investigating the new functionality available with ADAV8.2 in relation to ADASMXIT and the redirection of printed output to either DDPRINT or DDTRACE I believe that it is possible to simplify this considerably for customers.

It would be far simpler for customers to have this set up as an ADARUN parm with the following rules:
- Parm name something like SMXITOUT and possible values DDPRINT, DDTRACE1 with DDPRINT the default.
- If ADASMXIT is not in use (SMGT=NO) ignore the SMXITOUT parm.
- SMXITOUT=DDPRINT - divert printed output to DDPRINT
- SMXITOUT=DDTRACE1 - divert printed output to DDTRACE1

Background: We save the DDPRINT output for possible later investigation of issues through the echoed JESLOG information re operator commands (DSTAT, DRES), PLOG swaps and also for retention of shutdown statistics. So separation of dump info is important to us.

This would avoid the requirement to customise and then ASM/LKED ADASMXIT for such a simple modification. I believe that this would improve the usability of ADABAS.

Cheers
Brent
