Right now we are limited in the space in memory between the "line"- 16m and the "bar" (2G)
The ECSA is full and our LBP's are maxed out.
We have put our LFIOP up above the bar, but that makes relatively little difference.
It seems like time to be able to put the LBP above the bar - and release all that storage below the bar
We are on z/OS 1.9 (soon to be 1.11) and ADABAS 8.2.2 / 8.2.3

Hello Everyone!
I am currently on the roadmap planning for the upcoming release cycles and would like to re-confirm:
We are still on the implementation of a full 64-Bit Buffer Pool for ADA on z/OS.
We defined 4 phases and already implemented the first 2 of them with 2023Oct.
Currently we are in the middle of implementing LBP-64-Phase III.
LBP-64-Phase-IV is currently scheduled for ADA 8.7.
Release dates are subject to change, but the current thinking is 2027Oct.
There are still parts of the various address spaces used below the bar and the code needs to be 64-migrated step-by-step.
And of course undergoes thorough and fully-automated testing.
Hope that helps to judge.
It is probably the biggest change to Adabas on z/OS since decades.
Cheers,
Jürgen
A concrete release date is not yet scheduled.
We definitely need to split the immense work over multiple releases, though.
In which ADABAS-version the change will be implemented ? (ADA 8.6.1, planned release in 10.2023)
