Switch protection log at ET SYNC of ADASAV on-line SAVE.

Many sites do a FEOFPLjust afteran ADASAVSAVEon-line backup has ended. This makes me wonder if they think they then only need the newprotection log during a recovery.
To correct such misunderstandings please allow the specification of a FEOFPL parameter in ADASAV SAVE andin ADASAVDELTA SAVE. Like in Adabas on open systems this parameter should have the nucleus switch to the next PLOG when the ETSYNC is done - beforeresuming any (of the many waiting) update commands. This will ease the recovery process during the regenerate phase where you would no longer need to use the (long) protection log datasetcreated by the nucleus whilethe ADASAVwas running.

In the old days of using only two PLOGsthere was a danger of an operations disruption if you did a FEOFPL before the PLCOPY of the previous PLOG had ended. To avoid this risk maybe you should make the usageof more than two PLOGs a prerequisite of thenew ADASAV FEOFPL parameter.
