Would like to be able to search on a string of characters, to get to relevantdocumentation more easily & quickly. For example searching on 'command ID' gives many results for 'command', and many for 'ID'.

As there were no complaints whatsoever since 2023-May, I consider this idea as being solved.

The previous answer means:
It works within a given product's documentation set, i.e. ADA701
It works for the online webpage as well as any downloaded version
It DOES NOT cover to search over all documentation sets in the documentation portal
Question to you:
Is the status quo solving your problem?
Thanks and cheers,
Jürgen
From Documentation department:
It is possible to use search strings inside a doc set (e.g. https://documentation.softwareag.com/adabas/ada701luw/overview.htm). You just have to include your search string inside standard quotation marks ("<search_string>").
For example a search in the above linked doc set using "direct call" as a search string will get you 9 results, while a search for "ACBX direct call" will narrow that down to 1 result.
However, this does not yet work on a higher level (complete doc website for example).
In other words: We have a partial successful implementation.
