ADAMUP to read mainframe unload dataset.

Allow ADAMUP to read a mainframe load dataset - saving the time to decompress and compress. The FDT of the load dataset should be compared to the DB FDT before start.

For rehostings - this would shorten the time needed for go-live and reduce MF processing time.

For other purposes where Adabas/Linux files need to be refreshed with MF data (DW, Replication) it would also save MF processing time.

Use Case Rehosting and data warehouse.

    Hej Jrgen,

Do you mean an ADAULD on Linux that can unload a file from a mainframe backup? That would be equally great.

Best regards / Med venlig hilsen

    Hi Bjarne,

what would you think if this was enabled for ADA-MF backup files (instead of ADAMUP)?
    Mange tak og hilsener,
