Descriptor Value in Message of Rsp. 198

In case of a Rsp. 198 (Unique descriptor insert failed) you get the name of the descriptor name in the corresponding message. However, the descriptor value causing the response code is notshown.

If case of certain batch jobs it might cause quite an overhead to find the duplicate descriptor value that caused the Rsp. 198.

To include the descriptor value in the message, for instance in a way likeADAINV does in case of a duplicate value,would be a valuable feature proposed hereby!

Another way to make a rejected value visible without considerable programming overhead in the application (very special error handling) is a record in the Adabas event log (INFOBUFFERSIZE).
