ACE - Enhance Data Dictionary Comparison Tool

The Data Dictionary Comparison Tool is a very helpful utility for comparing one CDD to another. It would be even more helpful if a CDD could be compared against an Adabas FDT. There are times I would like to knowthat allchangesmade to Adabas filesare represented in particular CDDs.

While adding to capability to compare CDDs to Adabas files the Data Dictionary Comparison Tool needs to be enhanced to resemble the other database comparison tools on the market. Red Gates SQL Compare, Apex SQL Diff, Microsoft's Visual Studio comparison tool, to name a few. These other tools also tie into change management tools like Git and TFS. The comparison tool becomes central to the promotion of database changes from development through to production.
