Data Mapping Tool Number to Date Incompatible

Hello, our Adabas database holds date values in a (n8) structure (YYYYMMDD) and our target Oracle database is issued as a datetime. This causes an error when I try to use the Data Mapping Tool 3.4.0.0 to map the elements. If this was allowed to be bypassed I could use Oracle triggers to change the formatting of the column to meet my Oracle data type needs.
