Using new SYSSEC Cross-reference option "B" would Always Generate XREF data during Catalog or Stow to be certain we will create it if we can. It would not prevent Copying or Moving Objects into the Library which are simply missing XREF.
The SYSMAIN XREF option would need to prevent using N if NSC Cross-reference is B since this would purposefully leave XREF data behind if it exists.
XREF option S in SYSMAIN would copy the object(s) with XREF if XREF exists and also copy objects missing XREF as it does now when NSC Cross Reference is N or D.
Use Case | Maintain XREF without having to Temporarily Turn Cross-reference Option Off in NSC when SAG Provided Objects Do Not Have XREF |
