Natural Editor - Change Tile Vertically behaviour

I would expect choosing 'Tile Vertically' that all open program, LDA etc. windows are tiled while maximizing vertical space over horizontal space. However, I can stretch my Natural editor over several screens (5760 x 1080) and the tiling does not adjust to the actual screen layout. Instead it always follows the pattern below.

One (1) window is 1x1.

Two (2) windows is 1x2.

Three (3) windowsis 1x3

When you have four (4) windows, a second line of programs is opened (new row of programs) is created, meaning that it is now a 2x2 grid of programs instead of a 1x4 grid. Until nine (9 - 3x3 grid) there is always a second row of programs.

I prefer to read code down the page rather than across, so I would prefer an option which will always tile the programs vertically (ie. using the entire vertical space available regardless of the number of programs) or if possilbe, to perform a calculation in order to actually prioritize vertical pixel space over horizontal pixel space.
