Development mode not changeable for Projects

Today you can download a project from your source code control and then change the setting of "Development mode" between Shared and Privat as you want to.

We would like to have the mode fixed, so once a project is created the "development mode" cannot be changed. We see it as dangerously to change this, because it means you could overwrite a lot of source by accident, changing it from private to shared and doing a build with code from the wrong environment in our project.
