Provide Object Line count in LIST command in BATCH

Object Line Count is available with options in ONLINE LIST command (via PF11) but not in BATCH.

It is very cumbersome to try to count all the lines in a library a batch process with total would be a big help.

    Yes. If we could create and invoke a profile whereby we defined the columns to appear on the BATCH report that would be excellent.

    Would creating a new batch profile parameter that allows a different set and number of columns to be displayed in batch mode, including a "Lines" column, address your requirement?

    Currently we've two profile parameters that handle number of sources lines in the LIST command.
    COUNT-SOURCE-LINES is used in online mode to show the number of source lines for each object in a column 'Lines'.
    TOTAL-LINES-DISPLAY-BATCH is used in batch mode to show the total number of source lines of all objects of the LIST command. It is shown at the end of the batch output ('Total number of source lines').
    In batch processing there is only a fixed amount of columns and no second or third page.

    The only solution would be to create a new profile parameter for the batch mode so that a new/different number of columns are shown in batch mode incl a column 'Lines'.
    But first I must do a research to check the batch processing for possible new columns, adding a new profile parameter for the LIST command and possible concerns during runtime.

    The problem isn't that these options don't exist, The problem is the batch report doesn't show the columns.
    Online there are 3 pages where you can scroll right or left (the line counts are on page 2).
    In Batch the report only shows page 1 and there is no facility to scroll to right.
    I have tried increasing LS=132 but it still only shows page 1.
    If there is a way to see page 2 I have not discovered it.

    Using LIST profile parameters. COUNT-SOURCE-LINES will show the numbers of source lines for every source object. TOTAL-LINES-DISPLAY-BATCH will count and show the number of source lines of all source objects at the end in batch mode.
