As far as we have been able to find out,NaturalONE needs edit access to DDMs if you want to be able to add a DDM to a project. Adding a DDM to a project is necessary to be able to use an Adabas file without getting an error that Eclipse does not know about the file. The fact that all developers get edit access to the DDMs, even on our development environment, is a risk. It should not be necessary.

i can agree - many customers have the policy that only the DBA can edit the DDMs. then they need put in some rules to avoid the developers being able to edit the DDM. i was thinking of a read-only-mode.
